Things are really heating up for Andrew Angelcor.

After improving to 2-0 with a KO in his most recent BKFC bout, the Barstow, CA lightweight looks to extend his winning streak against David Bosnick (1-0) at BKFC 36 on Feb. 24 in New Orleans, LIVE on the BKFC App.

Angelcor accepted his most recent bout against Van Vo in October with just a few days to cut weight and prepare for battle. He’s excited to return to action with a full training camp under his belt, and take a big step up the BKFC lightweight rankings.

“Also on BKFC 36 is a fight between James Lilley and Bobby Taylor, who are both ranked in the Top 5. In a perfect world, I win my fight, improve to 3-0, and I get to fight the winner of Lilley-Taylor,” Angelcor says.

“After I win, I’m going to call out the winner of that fight so I can enter the Top 5 rankings and start closing in on the BKFC World Lightweight Championship.”

The source of Angelcor’s confidence is simple.

“I’ve worked my ass off to get here. This isn’t a theory or a pipedream. I’ve been doing this for 15, 16 years. Maybe now I’m starting to get more well known, but I’ve been doing this for a long time, and I live it,” Angelcor says.

“I’m extremely committed, and I work for it. I don’t mess around. That’s why I’m so confident.”
