What brings Kat Paprocki back to the BKFC Squared Circle for the second time?
“To put it simply, I just love it,” the Denver fighter says with a smile.
“It’s a real, true fight in there. I love striking, the creativity that the sport allows is incredible, and I love the aggression of it.
“I really see an opportunity here for me to be great.”
Paprocki looked great in her BKFC debut in October, when she stopped Sydney Smith in the fourth round of their BKFC 67 matchup in Denver. There was no doubt in Paprocki’s mind that she’d be back in the Squared Circle, and she returns on Saturday against Shelby Cannon at BKFC 74, LIVE worldwide on DAZN from the legendary Maverik Center in Salt Lake City, UT.
“I hope Shelby had a great camp, and that will definitely help her, but I still think it’s going to be a short night,” Paprocki says.
“I’m going to pour on the pressure. I think my skills and how comfortable I am in the Squared Circle are really going to shine through on fight night.”
Paprocki, 32, isn’t looking past Saturday’s assignment, but she wants to stay busy with BKFC in the months and years to come.
“I’m going to keep working hard, climbing the ladder, and I’m going to be a real problem for everybody in the division,” she says.
“They won’t be able to deny me a title shot soon.”
