Joseph Creer’s body and mind are finely tuned for the biggest opportunity of his combat sports career.

On Friday, he meets former BKFC World Light-Heavyweight Champion Jared Warren in the Main Event of BKFC Fight Night Clearwater, LIVE worldwide on The BKFC App from the iconic OCC Road House & Museum in Clearwater, FL.

“Styles make fights, and I’m very excited to step in that ring and challenge myself, challenge Jared, and ultimately show BKFC how good I am and prove that I’m deserving of the next title shot,” Creer says.

“I will become Champion.”

Creer has worked tirelessly in the gym for this matchup, but his training goes beyond the practice room.

“I pray and I meditate,” he says when asked how he stays focused on the task at hand when the stakes are so high.

Creer has been visualizing this kind of opportunity since he left his career in the United States military to pursue his passion for martial arts.

“Every step that I’ve taken post-military has been leading to this moment. I wanted to be the MMA champion, but the universe works in mysterious ways. Sometimes when you think you really want something, you don’t get it, mainly because you weren’t ready for it,” the Columbus, GA product says.

“Now, I’m ready to receive the gifts and opportunities that I prayed for almost 20 years ago.”
