Jenny “Savage” Clausius lives up to her nickname when talking about her upcoming rematch with Taylor “Killa Bee” Starling.

“I see a finish. I see somebody crying, and I see somebody making excuses about why they didn’t win,” the 30-year-old Clarksville, TN product says

“She’s a big drama show,” she adds. “She’ll say very nice things in the inbox, then be very, very rude and nasty and two-faced. I’m ready to shut her up and I’m ready to retire her.”

Clausius and Starling first did battle as professional MMA fighters in 2019, with “Savage” stopping “Killa Bee” in the third round. They’ll throw down again Jan. 27 at the next BKFC Prospect Series event at Revel Arena in Albuquerque, NM, LIVE on The BKFC App.

Clausius is eager to turn the page on her most recent fight, when she dropped a decision to BKFC World Women’s Strawweight Champion Britain Hart at BKFC 39.

Although “Savage” would prefer to be holding the belt heading into 2024, she says her performance against Hart proved she can hold her own against BKFC’s best in the Squared Circle.

“I was very close. I’m definitely worthy of a championship,” she says. “I know I have what it takes to take that championship away from whoever’s holding it, whether that’s Britain or whoever else is holding the belt.”

Bringing home the BKFC belt is just one of Clausius’ goals.

“I would love to be a voice for women who want to be taken seriously and seen as equitable in this sport,” Clausius says. “I’d like to be a philanthropist in the future. I probably won’t be a politician, but I want to be someone who makes a difference in my community, state and nation.”
