Jared Warren made a statement in BKFC Clearwater Main Event

May 7, 2025

The Florida fighter is hungrier than ever after winning big in Clearwater

Jared Warren knew he had to make a statement in his most recent fight — and that’s exactly what he did.

In the Main Event of BKFC Fight Night Clearwater, Warren needed just 28 seconds to stop Joseph Creer, LIVE worldwide on The BKFC App from the sold-out OCC Road House & Museum in Clearwater, FL.

“I didn’t expect to finish him that early in the fight, but everything went really smoothly and that gave me the statement that I was looking for,” Warren says.

“I don’t think they can deny me a title shot after that.”

The title that Warren is referring to, of course, is the BKFC World Light-Heavyweight Championship. Warren held the belt before dropping it to Mike Richman. Richman is set to defend the title for the first time on Saturday against Josh Dyer in the BKFC 74 Main Event, LIVE worldwide on DAZN from the legendary Maverik Center in Salt Lake City, UT.

Warren sees Richman successfully defending the strap, calling him the better fighter. But Warren would be happy to fight whoever wins Saturday’s headliner. All the Tampa, FL product wants is his belt back — and he's been working tirelessly to reclaim his spot atop the stacked BKFC light-heavyweight division.

“Regardless of my results, I’ve never stopped looking for ways to improve, so I’m always expecting myself to be more composed and more polished when I enter the ring,” he says.

“I’m my own toughest critic. You’ll never get to the point where you know it all about fighting, so I’m just working hard to elevate my game and look like a better fighter every time I’m out there.”
