Esteban Rodriguez's confidence is unmatched – and for good reason.

Following his 86-second TKO victory over Jaquis Williams on Friday at BKFC 43 in Omaha, NE, the hard-hitting Michigan light-heavyweight is now 2-0 with a pair of brutal knockouts in the Squared Circle.

“There’s no ifs, ands or buts about it – I’m ready to clear out the whole (expletive) division, man,” Rodriguez says after Friday’s win.

“I will be the next $1,000,000 fighter this world needs.”

Rodriguez battered Williams on Friday, knocking him down three times en route to the first-round stoppage. He modestly grades his performance as a “C,” so he’s hungry to return to the Squared Circle and keep his momentum rolling.

“If they’re ranked in the division, then I’ll fight anyone,” he says. “I want someone who will really push me to my true potential, and that’s only going to happen with the best guys in the division.”

Aside from someday winning the BKFC World Light-Heavyweight Championship, Rodriguez’s goals in this phase of his career are simple – serve as an inspiration to young people and entertain the fans.

“I’m the people’s champ,” he says. “I do this for the people.”
