Drew Stuve: "This Is My Time"

August 5, 2025

Drew Stuve will pack a more powerful punch than before in his return to the BKFC Squared Circle this weekend.

On Saturday, the beefed-up Stuve makes his debut in the BKFC middleweight division against Will Santiago in the Main Event of BKFC Fight Night Edmonton, LIVE worldwide on The BKFC App from the legendary River Cree Resort & Casino in Edmonton, AB, Canada.

Stuve is 2-0 with back-to-back, stoppage victories in the Squared Circle, with both wins coming in welterweight action.

“I’ve been lifting weights a lot more, so I’ve put on a lot of size and I’m way stronger than before,” Stuve says on the eve of his third trip to the Squared Circle.

“I still have my speed, but I hit a lot harder now.”

The 28-year-old Edmonton product is counting down the seconds until Saturday evening, when he gets to showcase his increased power and strength.

“I’m definitely looking for the knockout, absolutely,” he says.

“My opponent likes to run, but there will be nowhere for him to run on fight night.”

Stuve sees himself as the first Canadian to hold a BKFC World Championship belt and loves competing in “The Great White North.” Still, he’s eager to represent his country in international locales in the future.

“I’m ready for whoever BKFC has for me, and I’m more than happy to go into anybody’s backyard to take them out,” he says.

“This is my time.”
