Major rankings implications are on the line when undefeated lightweight contenders Bryce “Baby Yaga” Henry and Robbie “Problems” Peralta collide at BKFC 57 on Feb. 2 at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL, LIVE on The BKFC App.

Both Henry and Peralta are undefeated in their first three trips to the BKFC Squared Circle, and both combatants are hungry for a shot at the BKFC World Lightweight Championship in 2024. Henry is the No. 4 contender in the stacked weight class, while Peralta currently sits just outside the Top 5.

Henry has one of the best jabs on the BKFC roster, and the fast-rising Broward County, FL product is excited to put it to good use in the Squared Circle against the UFC vet Peralta.

“I’m going to put my money on my jab again,” he says. “He might not get past the first round. He might get dropped with the jab. He might get cut, and the doctor might stop it again.”

After three nearly flawless stoppage victories in 2023, Henry admits he was a little disappointed to not kick off 2024 against a ranked opponent. Nevertheless, he’s eager to make a statement against Peralta and stake his claim for the next shot at the undefeated Luis “The Baboon” Palomino (9-0), who currently holds the BKFC World Lightweight Championship.

“Everybody knows that I’m the top fighter in the division, and Robbie is just somebody that’s in my way,” Henry says. “I’m just trying to get to the guy who really has the belt, and he’s smart to avoid me for as long as he can.”

Palomino also returns to the Squared Circle at BKFC 57. He takes on former World Boxing Association champion Austin Trout (1-0) in welterweight action in the Main Event.
