BKFC 25 Rankings Roundup: Four Top 5 fighters ready to rumble in Orlando

Thursday, May 05 2022 by BKFC Staff

A number of fighters ranked in the Top 5 of their respective Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship weight classes are back in action Friday at BKFC 25: Adams vs. Cleckler. Here’s some information on fighters already ranked, and fighters looking to crack the Top 5 next week, before they knuckle up in Orlando, LIVE on BKTV.

x Arnold “Bomaye” Adams (6-1) is the reigning Heavyweight Champion and is No. 3 on the Men’s Pound-for-Pound list. He is tied with Luis “Baboon” Palomino (6-0) for second most wins in BKFC history, behind only Lorenzo “The Juggernaut” Hunt (7-1). Four of his victories are by KO.

x Dillon “Bad Boy” Cleckler (3-0) is the No. 2 Heavyweight, ranked behind only his opponent, Adams. All of his wins have come by knockout, and he’s also 11-1 as a professional MMA fighter.

x David “Redneck” Mundell (3-1) is the No. 1 Light-Heavyweight Contender. Two of Mundell’s BKFC wins have come by first-round knockout, and he is 10-5 as a pro MMA fighter.

x Joshua “The Lion” Ridge (1-0) is the No. 5 Flyweight Contender. He cracked the rankings after scoring a 41-second KO in his BKFC debut in December.

Additionally, several fighters could find themselves ranked next week if they win big in Orlando.

x Julian “Let Me Bang” Lane (4-6) doesn’t back down an inch in the Squared Circle. A victory over the No. 1-ranked Light-Heavyweight Contender in Mundell could certainly punch Lane’s ticket to the Top 5. His record isn’t exactly spotless, but it is well earned.

x Fellow Light-Heavyweight prospects Terry Janoski (1-0) and Jay Jackson (1-1) could also be in consideration if their victory is impressive enough.

x Last but certainly not least, a victory for Art "The Deadman" Parker would propel him to 2-0 in the BKFC Heavyweight Division. His opponent, Warren Thompson, is eager to make a first impression to remember. Time will tell if either young gun can impress the rankings panelists enough to crack the list.
