Lumumba Sayers is an American mixed martial artist with extensive experience dating back to the Strikeforce days. He’s fought some household names in the world of MMA including Anthony Smith, Derek Brunson and Drew Dober. Known as a submission artist then, he toed the line in BKFC for the first time in May of 2024 against Jeremy Morrison.
Sayers last fought in 2015 before debuting in the promotion and entered at age 45. He held an amateur belt and a professional title, both at middleweight. The amateur belt came from the Colorado regional scene and the professional, from No Mercy Extreme Fighting.
