LUIS CASTAÑEDA

Luis Castañeda gives Mexican Muay Thai great representation. He’s widely regarded as one of the best practitioners of the sport that the country has ever had and he’s fought in bare-knuckle Muay Thai matches previous to joining the BKFC roster. Castañeda fights out of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

Castañeda spent several years fighting in Thailand and has an impressive 27 knockouts to his name. He’s got exceptional movement with the ability to dart in and out of the pocket while landing damage and he will usually embrace a “take on to give one” approach in his bouts. Castañeda knows how to entertain and be sure to tune in when he toes the line to see beautiful violence! 

Outside of fighting, Castañeda is an animal lover with a couple of dogs that he considers family members. Scrolling through his instagram, you will see a pretty even split of dog photos and fight footage/training. His wife is a major supporter of his fighting career and is behind him every step of the way.
