Born in Mexico and having relocated to South Gate, California, Jonathan Quiroz began his fight career in MMA back in 2013 as an amateur. After alternating wins and losses at that level for three years, he turned pro in Combate Global which hosts fights throughout the Americas.
He has fought a high level of competition as a pro including the UFC’s Kyler Phillips who he took the distance in a loss in 2017. With a healthy mix of wins and losses by all three methods in MMA, we know he is a well-rounded fighter with an ability to make reads and adjust to capitalize on his opponent’s weaknesses.
Quiroz made his BKFC debut against a fellow debutant in Tony Pike at BKFC 84 Palm Desert.
