JD Burns is an American mixed martial artist and bare-knuckle boxer with extensive experience in training others the ways of combat. In his words, “I was Wrapping hands for war before I even knew how to drive a car.” In his mixed martial arts career, he’s got wins by all three major methods so we see a well-roundedness in the potential welterweight contender. 

Burns has been competing in the lightweight division since middle school so obviously he has focussed on his discipline and cardio on top of his technique in order to become the fighter he is today. 

“The Berzerker” is the head coach of Team Battleground MMA and he looks to grow with his students while demonstrating his skills in the Squared Circle. *He debuted on the BKFC’s biggest card to date, KnuckleMania V against the very skilled Dustin Pague and will likely look to stick around for a potential rank in the future.
