Hannah ‘The Classical Warrior’ Rankin is a Scottish boxer with a long list of accomplishments in the sport at a professional level. She has held the WBA and IBO female super-welterweight World titles. She’s faced some of the best athletes that women’s boxing has to offer since she debuted in 2017.

Rankin has had a love for combat sports since a young age. At nine years old, she took up taekwondo with her sister and evolved her game from there. You could consider Rankin well-rounded, not just in fighting but in life in general. Besides her interest in fighting, she took a deep interest in fine arts, specifically music. As an accomplished bassoonist, Rankin attended the Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow and then the Royal Academy of Music in London where she earned her masters degree in 2016. She continues to teach music to this day.

When it comes to Rankin’s fighting style, as one would imagine, it’s boxing heavy. She has tight technique and a heavy volume approach. ‘The Classical Warrior’ holds knockout power at her weight class but earned most of her past victories by overwhelming her opponents while leaning on defense and going the distance.

Hannah Rankin makes her BKFC debut at BKFC on DAZN: Spain and you can expect her cardio to be more than sufficient and for her to look to out-technique her opponent, Sahel Bayat. Look for combinations from range and excellent countering from the featherweight who looks to put the division on notice.
