Markus Suarez made his BKFC debut on the first ever BKFC Prospect Series in Miami, Florida where he lives. He fell short in his debut but the striker is motivated to turn things around and contend in the light heavyweight division.

He practices what he preaches with facing your fears and insecurities head on as seen in his demanding of an immediate rematch with Drew Nolan for his second fight in the BKFC. Nolan defeated Suarez in his debut performance.
