Derek 'The Stallion' Campos is an American mixed martial artist who chose to remove the gloves and join the BKFC to make his debut against Mike Trizano at BKFC 61. The Western Texan fights out of Lubbock, Texas and fights with a pressure heavy style usually over 15 minutes. Despite having most of his wins by decision, he doesn’t discriminate between knockouts and submissions as his wins via finish are nearly split evenly. Campos is the former King of the Cage Light Welterweight Champion from 2012.
Nearly every photo you see of Campos is him in the gym or in the ring/cage. He is the father to a young son and enjoys a high quality beer every now and then but stays in solid shape in and out of camp. You’ll see training images and videos along with a lot of bike riding footage as it looks to be his cardio conditioning method of choice.
