Daniel Pettit is new to the fight world but has looked to go straight to bare-knuckle fighting as opposed to getting his feet wet in other combat sports. He’s got a single BK fight outside of the BKFC where he fell short but looks to get right in the world’s premier BK promotion. Pettit is very tall for the featherweight division at 6’1”.
The Florida based striker took on a fellow prospect in Dylan Felion at BKFC 61 at the Mohegan Sun in Connecticut and made it look easy against the multiple amateur MMA champion. Pettit has grit and could care less about what the oddsmakers think as he showed in that performance.
Pettit will come forward and cause his opponent to miss more punches than he lands while landing an overwhelming amount of shots to the body and head of his opponent. The guy really made a great showing for himself in his debut performance. He’s able to go the distance if needed because he stays in great shape, focusing on cardio and strength training almost as much as his striking techniques and his physique shows it. Despite the solid shape he’s in, Pettit looks to land nothing but power shots and have a short night in the office every time out.

Rules
Fighters are permitted to wrap and tape the wrist, thumb, and mid-hand. No gauze or tape can be within 1 inch of the knuckles.
Fighters will “Toe The Line” There are two lines, three feet apart, in the center of the ring where the fighters will start each round. The front foot will be on the line, and then the referee will instruct the fighters to “Knuckle Up” this means the beginning of the round/bout. More »
