Juan ‘El Mazo’ Álvarez is a Mexican boxer, Muay Thai fighter and mixed martial artist. He’s fought a good amount in mid-level MMA promotions and has high level Muay Thai experience. Álvarez represents the Quilantan Team out of Mexico and he’s been sharpening his striking there for years.
With dangerous and technical Muay Thai striking, the guy is going to be a problem for a lot of BKFC lightweights. Mexico has another prospect on the potential rise and expect speed and violence from Álvarez who does not ever want a fight to go the distance or lack intensity.
