Quintan “The Hitman” Foye is ready to shock the world.
He takes on Ryan Reber, the No. 1 contender in the BKFC bantamweight division, at BKFC 61 on May 11 at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, CT, LIVE worldwide on The BKFC App.
“This is a huge opportunity,” the 32-year-old Reidsville, NC product says.
“I’m not sleeping on him; I’m amped up for this. This is the kind of fight that you wake up every morning excited about.”
Foye wants to follow in the path of former training partners Britain Hart, the current BKFC World Women’s Strawweight Champion, and Reggie Barnett Jr., who previously held the BKFC World Bantamweight Championship. Foye has a clear shot at the top of the stacked BKFC 135-pound division, and he’s ready to pull the trigger against Reber.
“I see myself getting my hand raised,” he says.
“I’m hoping to get a stoppage. I’ve noticed a lot of weaknesses in my opponent’s game while I’ve been doing my homework for this fight. I’m trying to get buddy up outta there.”
