Robbie “Problems” Peralta is ready to derail the Bryce Henry hype train.

The unbeaten lightweight contenders will do battle in the hugely anticipated Co-Main Event of BKFC 57 on Feb. 2 at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL, LIVE on The BKFC App.

Henry is undefeated in his first three trips to the Squared Circle and has looked spectacular in each of his outings. Many pundits and fellow fighters view the dynamic Broward County, FL product as the top prospect on the BKFC roster.

With all due respect, Peralta doesn’t share that view.

“He just hasn’t been tested by a fighter like me. He hasn’t fought anybody with my type of experience. I’ve been in the ring with every type of fighter there is, so I’m ready for anything,” Peralta says.

“This isn’t like boxing where he can just stay long on the outside. I’m going to come at him, I’m going to be aggressive, and I’m going to put my hands on him.”

Like Henry, Peralta is also unbeaten in his first three bare knuckle fights. The Escondido, CA product's combat sports resume includes a 19-9 professional MMA record, eight appearances in the UFC's octagon and 13 MMA wins by knockout.

Peralta is still hunting for his first stoppage victory in the Squared Circle. He believes it’s waiting for him at BKFC 57.

“I’m always looking to finish it in the first round, but I could see this one going a little longer,” he says. “I think I’ll end it in the third round.”

Peralta hopes a big win over Henry will earn him the next shot at the vacant BKFC World Lightweight Championship.

The belt would mean a lot more for Peralta than just another credential on his impressive body of work.

“It would mean the world to bring the belt home to Escondido and all the people that I represent when I fight,” he says.

“It will be the biggest accomplishment of my career.”
