Michael Manno is on his grind

Michael Manno is working hard to return to the win column.

Manno is coming off the first defeat of his BKFC career – a decision loss to Marcus Edwards at BKFC 50 in September. He returns to the Squared Circle for the third time against the debuting Felipe “Flip” Chavez for BKFC Prospect Series on Jan. 27 at Revel Arena in Albuquerque, NM, LIVE on The BKFC App.

“I told (BKFC Matchmaker) Nate Shook that I’d love to take a fight on short notice because I’ve been working hard and staying ready. I’ve been on my grind for this. They had an opening, so I jumped at this opportunity,” Manno says.

“Let’s go.”

Manno is more focused on his training than ever before. He predicts his efforts will pay off with a TKO victory over Chavez in their welterweight showdown. Manno, 28, plans on doing a lot of winning in 2024.

“I just want to stay consistent, fight to the best of my ability and rep my city, Shreveport, LA, in the BKFC Squared Circle,” he says.

“I think it will lead me to a BKFC World Championship.”
