ROBERT DESHARNAIS

‘The Slim Reaper’ Robert Desharnais is a Canadian mixed martial artist just getting started in his combat sports career. He had a single MMA fight in Havoc FC, a regional promotion out of his home province of Alberta. Despite losing in his debut and having the following fight canceled, Desharnais stayed positive and motivated which landed him a spot in the BKFC. 

He’s got a long career ahead of him if he stays active and carves a path in his featherweight division. At 6’0”, he is bound to be taller than 90% of his opposition and in a sport of inches, an advantage like that is welcomed. Desharnais will look to strike from the outside and use his solid footwork to stay out of his enemy’s range while attempting to wear them out. He could be an exciting contender at 145 and only time will tell.

In his personal life, ‘The Slim Reaper’ loves spending time outside with his kids or just by himself, hiking or getting in some training. He’s a student of martial arts even messing around with nunchucks and various Eastern weapons. In most of his social media posts he is giving thanks to god in the caption and tries to remain grateful for everything in his life.
