LORENZO COCA

Lorenzo Coca fights out of New Mexico and has an MMA background with 19 professional fights upon his BKFC debut. Being a New Mexico-based fighter, Coca has fought quite a bit on the regional scene along with a few appearances in King of the Cage, A California/southwest regional promotion. His skills have allowed him to fight around the world and he has built up a solid base in MMA to compete in the BKFC.

Many of his MMA wins have come via submission so expect some heavy clinch work if Coca can follow his gameplan in the Squared Circle. His striking style is more technical than powerful. He only has one win by strikes in his professional MMA career but the good news is, he holds his power for the duration of the fight. He will be just as dangerous in minute one as he will be in minute 10 within the BKFC.

Coca makes his BKFC debut after a more than 10-year layoff to prove to himself that he can fight in a new organized combat sport. He had initially planned to return a few years earlier but suffered a family tragedy during his fight camp. His beloved son passed away and as one can imagine, Coca was broken and fighting was once again off the table. He picked up the pieces and realized the only way to start the process of recovering, which will never be 100% after something like the loss of a child, is to get back out into the world and double down on accomplishments and goals.
