The Bulgarian featherweight, Iliyan Adrianov brings some kickboxing and MMA experience into the BKFC Squared Circle from his young combat sports career. He has a lose and relaxed style with his hands low, down by his hips and that tends to be a very difficult style to combat from a traditional striking perspective. Luckily for whoever he faces in the BKFC, his opponents won’t have to worry about his lightning fast kicks. Watching his MMA fights, it’s very hard to know if he’s targeting the body or head until his opponents are already hit.
For a featherweight, this Adrianov carries big power and that’s demonstrated by his round one knockouts in K1 and MMA. Upon entering the BKFC, he also holds a 1-1 pro boxing record.
Adrianov is immersed in training but spends time he can with friends, family and girlfriend in Sofia, Bulgaria. He enjoys life’s luxuries like a good meal in between training camps and really has a heightened sense of dedication, especially for a 21-year-old.
