Veselin ‘The Madman’ Ivanov is a Bulgarian Sambo and MMA fighter mostly fighting in the Bulgarian Max Fight promotion. Despite having an upside down record entering the BKFC back at BKFC Bulgaria, Ivanov was the 2008 Max Fight World Champion. He went on to become the European Combat Sambo Champion in 2013 and 2015 and the Vice-Champion in 2014 and 2016. Aside from Sambo and MMA, Ivanov is also 3-0 in professional boxing.
On his debut in 2023, Ivanov knocked out the Italian Marco Guistarini in round three which tells us he can hold power in later rounds and will push forward relentlessly. ‘The Madman’ is a private individual online and likes to focus on improving his skills without a spotlight. A refreshing approach, but an ineffective way to rally fans behind a fighter. With Ivanov, focus on the skills over anything else.
