Sonny Smith spent some time on the Washington amateur MMA scene where he proved to be a finisher, scoring both of his wins by TKO. His only loss to date was his first ever amateur fight where he lost by decision, so his defense and ability to keep the fight where he wants it is on point. He makes his BKFC debut with a 2-0 record in the sport of bare-knuckle and will be facing Dustin Thompson at the first ever Canadian event held by the premier BK boxing promotion in the world.

Smith has intense pressure and maintains it throughout his fights while implementing top notch defense, keeping his head off the centerline.
