Stan ‘Silverback’ Surmacz breaks into the BKFC and debuts on the historic BKFC Fight Night Prospects card in Canada, the first of its kind in the Great White North. He will be facing Donald Wonch. Surmacz looks to hit the ground running in his first ever professional fight and put the heavyweight division on notice right away!
Surmacs enters the BKFC from the boxing world where he has a pro record of 12-1-0 fighting mostly in Canada. He’s in the rare category of a BKFC prospect who has headlined a card in another promotion where he fought and knocked out Mario Rodriguez in round one. The power from the heavyweight is real and he looks to be a promising contender.
The Filipino/Polish powerhouse trains boxing classes out of his Silverback Surmacz gym in Edmonton and he will no doubt be a popular fighter whenever he fights in his home country. Everyone close to Surmacz, he considers family but his mother, wife and late father seem to have the most special place in his heart followed by his dogs which he shows off on social media.
