JASON KELLY

Jason Kelly is a professional boxer fighting out of Brockville, Ontario, Canada. He debuted in the BKFC in March of 2024 on the nation’s first ever BKFC event full of fellow Canadian fighters. Upon his entry to the world’s fastest growing combat sport, he held a 3-5-1 record.

Kelly is calculated in the ring and doesn’t just look straight for the knockout. We see a pattern here with a lot of these Canadian fighters and with the French influence over the country, many Canadian fighters may be Savate (French kickboxing) influenced. Savate used to be a deadly fighting system used by the French military but over the years, it’s become a much more patient and low volume approach to striking.  

Look for some 3-D chess to be played when many of these fighters step into the Squared Circle including Kelly who has excellent counter strikes and footwork. Some of combat sports greatest legends are counter strikers, Israel Adesanya, Floyd Mayweather Jr. and so on.
