Roberto ‘Sinko’ Uvando is a Mexican bare-knuckle fighter with limited MMA experience as well. ‘Sinko’ got his professional start late in his life but has looked unstoppable since picking up fighting with a quick 3-0 record to start.
‘Sinko’ makes his BKFC debut against a fellow Mexican bare-knuckle pioneer in Beto Saniba whom he has faced previously. They had a banger of a fight but ‘Sinko’ edged out a split decision. Luckily, we get to see this under the bright lights of the BKFC and the talent of Mexican bare-knuckle can get the exposure it deserves, Robert Uvando is a key part of that exposure.

Rules
Fighters are permitted to wrap and tape the wrist, thumb, and mid-hand. No gauze or tape can be within 1 inch of the knuckles.
Fighters will “Toe The Line” There are two lines, three feet apart, in the center of the ring where the fighters will start each round. The front foot will be on the line, and then the referee will instruct the fighters to “Knuckle Up” this means the beginning of the round/bout. More »
